Originally trained as a Pastoral Counselor in the early 1970’s, Pamela L. Chubbuck, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist with over 35 years of experience. Having studied Core Energetics personally and extensively with its founder, John C. Pierrakos, M.D., she is on the International Faculty of the Institute of Core Energetics.
Pam has taught and supervised post-graduate therapists in Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and in the U.S. She serves as Director of the Core Energetic Institute South Four Year Professional Training Program.
Pam is a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist, a Certified Healing Science Practitioner, an ordained Interfaith Minister and Practicing Healer. Her Ph.D. is in psychology, her Master’s degree in counseling psychology. She is a graduate of the 4-year training program with Barbara Ann Brennan, author of Hands of Light, and has studied extensively with Mietek Wirkus, internationally known healer and teacher of "Bio-Energy Healing".
Pam was a childbirth educator, midwife, La Leche League educator, sex educator, and Assistant Professor at the University of the District of Columbia. As a counselor/educator at Georgetown University Hospital, she taught medical students and developed a program for counseling parents of defective newborns. She co-founded Gaiabriel, a national spiritually based organization and the Washington, D.C. branch of the American Society for Psychoprophylaxis in Obstetrics.
Pam L. Chubbuck, Ph.D., is the Producer/Director of Say Yes to Life, a video program based on the Core Energetic Evolutionary Process. She authored Passages IntoWomanhood: Empowering Girls to Love Themselves, for girls, mentors and women of all ages, Woman Spirit, an audio book/CD and Welcome to the World: How and Why You Came to Earth, a teaching story for young children.
Pam has raised three sons, who have been among her greatest teachers. Her family now includes nine grandchildren.
